About Workforce-XML
Workforce-XML represents a consortium of organisations looking to
create open industry standards between data collection devices and
workforce management software; with the aim of increasing choice for
end-users whilst at the same time reducing total costs of ownership.
About Reslink
Reslink is a Finnish software vendor of mobile phone solutions for
workforce management that utilise new technologies, such as NFC and
RFID to provide guaranteed proof-of-attendance and simple data capture.
The Reslink solution allows mobile workers to touch pre-placed RFID
tags with their mobile phone to confirm their attendance at that
location and to enter task-related information.
Combined with the mobile phone, a cheap RFID tag becomes an advanced
clocking and data collection machine that can be placed at any location
- at customers, suppliers, offices, warehouses or in vehicles. All
timestamps and data entered are sent to the clients' back-office
operational systems in real-time.
